For the exhibition and fashion showroom Preface. Image Politics in Fashion and Arts, BUREAU KIES developed a new exhibition format in cooperation with Andreas Spiegl (Academy of Fine Arts Vienna) and Vivien Sakura Brandl (Sight Store) as part of Tokyo Fashion Week 2017.
BUREAU KIES provided the visual communication for the project and conceived the exhibition display.
The exhibition was part of the Amazon Tokyo Fashion Week and took place at the A-Gallery in Jingumae/Tokyo from March 21 to 24, 2017.
The latest collections of 6 fashion labels from Austria (GON, Natures of Conflict, Selina Rottmann, SAGAN Vienna, SIGHTLINE, Jana Wieland) were presented in dialogue with selected art works by Veronika Eberhart, Mario Kiesenhofer, Tina Lechner, Dorit Margreiter and Wolfgang Thaler.
